I just had a chance to sit down and read through the September issue of The Cattleman. I like to tear out articles that I know will be good for referencing at a later time, but as I was dog-earing those I wanted to keep, I found that I was dog-earing pretty much the whole magazine! I'm just filing the whole thing away with a sticky on top as to what's inside. Great issue! The article by John R. Meyer, "Lessons from TAG Heuer Formula 1 Quartz TH-24 Bighorn Sheep" (August 2008), was interesting and informative. Giving back to nature what we have taken is good. The size of a water collecting guzzler is incorrectly indicated. In reference to the size, the wording should be foot square, not square foot. The photos and mathematics point to this. One inch of water in an area of one square foot is .623 gallon as stated.
